Direct Debit & Credit Transfers

Tower Credit Union has been accepted as a participant in the SEPA Payment Schemes.

As part of the SEPA Payments Scheme, you may now send lodgements and repayments direct to your credit union accounts by credit transfer, direct debit or internet banking.

Accordingly each of your accounts with the credit union has been allocated a unique IBAN (International Bank Account Number). This an international bank account identifier used to uniquely identify the account of a customer at a financial institution. This is the only permissible account identifier for SEPA payments. It is important to remember that IBAN is not a new account number but simply a new format for an existing account number which is recognized internationally.

A member may receive their own unique IBAN by contacting the office.

Members can save or repay a loan by direct debit or standing order from their bank account. A standard form for this purpose is available from the credit union. Please call 01 4570884 for further details.

Members can also pay by debit card over the phone or at the counter.
