Fraud Alert: Impersonation Scam Targeting Members
We have been made aware of an impersonation scam currently in operation, where fraudsters are posing as representatives from credit unions or banks.
In these scams, individuals may contact you by phone or message, claiming to be from a financial institution and requesting your login details or personal PIN. Sharing this information can give them direct access to your account.
We want to reassure you that we will never ask for your personal login details or PIN under any circumstances.
If you receive a call or message that feels suspicious, trust your instincts. End the call immediately and contact us directly on our main line at 01 4570884 to verify the request.
Please also be aware that all official SMS messages from us will only come from our recognised channel, “TowerCU.” Any messages from other senders claiming to be us should be treated as a scam.
We encourage all members to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity.
