Important Update: Changes to Current Account and Debit Card Terms & Conditions

We wish to advise our members of some important updates to the Terms and Conditions of our Current Account and Debit Card services. A full copy of the updated Terms and Conditions is available here and Schedule of Fees is available here.

Summarised below are the main points of note;

SEPA Instant Payments & Verification of Payee (VOP)
On or before the 9th of October 2025, members will be able to send and receive funds to their Current Account in under 10 seconds via our online services or in-branch.
We are also introducing Verification of Payee (VOP), an added security measure that checks whether the name of the payee matches the IBAN before a SEPA payment is sent. This helps ensure payments go to the correct recipient.

Accessibility Improvements
In line with the European Accessibility Act 2025 (EEA), our updated documents now meet accessibility requirements, ensuring services are more inclusive for all members.

Next Steps

If you are happy with the updated Terms & Conditions you don’t need to take any action. If you are not satisfied with the amendments, you are free to close your account in line with the terms and conditions. If we do not hear from you by the 01/10/2025, we will take it that you are satisfied with the changes to your Current Account Terms and Conditions.
